This Gemischter Satz comes from the Ried Ulm vineyard, a south-facing slope above the Danube, where a total of nine grape varieties grow together. Among them, Weißburgunder and Grüner Veltliner stand out the most in this 2021 vintage. On the nose, it offers subtle aromas of peach and pear, along with some minerality and a hint of pepper. The palate reveals juicy fruit and a touch of freshness. The wine leaves a wonderfully balanced impression. The slightly green notes often found in Gemischter Satz, which add a certain bite, are completely absent here. Instead, there’s a gentle creaminess, making it an exceptional companion for food.
